Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us, so we created this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”). It explains what information KKR Staffing LLC DBA ARC Staffing Solutions (“ARC,” “Company,” “we,” “us”) collects from people who use our services, and how we use and protect it.
This Policy covers our website at https://arcstaffingsolutions.com, our applicant portal, and ARC Shift, our time and attendance system at https://shift.kkrstaffing.com and in the ARC Shift mobile app (together, the “Services”). It is part of our Terms of Service.
It applies to everyone who uses the Services, including job seekers and workers we place (“Candidates”), businesses that hire through us and the people who approve time for them (“Clients”), ARC staff, and visitors (together, “Users” or “you”).
“Personal Information” means any information that can identify you, alone or combined with other information. Examples include your name, email address, phone number, home address, Social Security number, or IP address.
By using the Services, you agree to this Policy and to our handling of your Personal Information as described here. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect 10 days after we post them. If you keep using the Services after that, you accept the updated Policy. When this Policy changes, ARC Shift asks you to review and acknowledge the new version the next time you sign in.
Once you’re hired, your onboarding documents and employee policies also apply to you.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following information, some of which may be Personal Information.
A. Information you give us directly
- Account and contact details: name, email, mobile phone number, mailing address, and your sign-in details. ARC Shift has no passwords: you sign in with a one-time code sent by email or text, and ARC staff also use an authenticator app.
- Application and job details: resume, work history, education, skills, certifications, references, availability, desired pay, and job preferences.
- Hiring and onboarding details (once you accept work): Social Security number, date of birth, I-9 and work authorization documents, tax withholding forms, direct deposit information, and emergency contacts.
- Voluntary information: equal employment opportunity (EEO) information such as gender, race, ethnicity, veteran, or disability status. Providing this is always optional and never affects hiring decisions.
- Client information: company name, contact names, job titles, worksite locations, and staffing orders.
- Communications: messages, calls, texts, and emails between you and ARC.
We only ask for sensitive information like your Social Security number or bank details when it’s needed for hiring, payroll, or tax purposes. ARC Shift does not collect your Social Security number or bank details.
B. Time and attendance information (ARC Shift)
When you work an Assignment, ARC Shift records:
- Your punches: clock in, clock out, breaks, and meal periods, with the time our server received each one.
- Where you worked: the Client, worksite, and job for each shift.
- Your hours, overtime, and pay rate for each week, and the gross pay worked out from them.
- Corrections and approvals: who changed or approved a time record, when, and the reason they gave. These records are kept and cannot be erased.
- Your worker number and payroll identifiers, so your hours reach payroll.
- Your language choice for the app.
Location. If you punch in or out with the ARC Shift mobile app at a worksite that requires it, the app records your device’s location at the moment you punch, to confirm you are at the worksite. It asks your permission on your device first, and it does not track your location at any other time.
C. Information from third parties
With your authorization where the law requires it, we may receive information from:
- Background check and drug screening providers
- E-Verify and government verification services
- References and former employers you list
- Job boards and career sites where you applied (such as Indeed)
- Clients, including approval of your hours and feedback on your performance during an Assignment
D. Information we collect automatically
When you use the Services, we automatically collect:
- Usage details, such as pages visited, date and time, and approximate location
- Your IP address
- Device details, such as type, operating system, and browser
- In ARC Shift, a random identifier for your browser or device, used with your IP address to limit repeated sign-in attempts and stop automated attacks
E. Cookies and bot checks
Website. We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, understand how the Website is used, and keep it secure. We use Google Analytics cookies to see how visitors use the Website, such as which pages they visit and how long they stay, so we can make it better. This information is reported to us in summary form and is not used to identify you. You can opt out of Google Analytics anytime with Google’s free browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
ARC Shift. ARC Shift uses no analytics or advertising cookies. It sets only the cookies it needs: one that keeps you signed in, one that identifies your browser or device for security, and one that remembers your language. Before sending a sign-in code, it uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is asking.
You can disable cookies in your browser, but the applicant portal and ARC Shift will not work without them.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Match you with work: review applications, evaluate qualifications, and present you to Clients for Assignments.
- Hire and onboard: verify identity and work authorization, run background checks and screenings you authorize, and complete new-hire paperwork.
- Record your time and pay you correctly: keep accurate records of the hours you work, apply breaks and overtime rules, have your hours approved, and send them to payroll.
- Meet legal duties: process payroll, taxes, benefits, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims, and keep the time and pay records wage-and-hour laws require.
- Serve our Clients: fill staffing orders, have Clients approve hours, and invoice for services.
- Communicate with you: send job alerts, schedules, reminders, onboarding steps, sign-in codes, account notices, and answers to your questions by phone, text, and email.
- Run and improve the Services: maintain the Services, fix problems, and understand how they are used.
- Keep things safe and secure: verify that it is really you signing in, limit repeated attempts, and detect and prevent fraud, identity theft, time fraud, and security incidents.
- Protect rights: enforce our Terms of Service and protect the rights, property, and safety of ARC, our Users, and the public.
- Comply with the law: meet legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations, including EEO and government reporting.
4. Your rights
A. Access and update your information
You can review much of your information by signing in. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete your Personal Information by emailing privacy@kkrstaffing.com. Please mark your request “Privacy Request” and tell us if it’s time sensitive. We may need to verify your identity first.
If a time record looks wrong, tell your supervisor or your ARC branch. Corrections are made by authorized staff, and the original record and the reason for the change are kept.
You can opt out of text messages anytime by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
B. Data retention
We keep your information as long as needed to provide the Services, consider you for future work, and meet legal requirements. Employment law requires us to keep certain records for set periods, even after you stop working with us. We keep time and payroll records for at least three years, and applications, I-9 forms, and tax records for the periods the law sets. For that reason, we may not be able to delete every record on request.
When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
5. Data security
Protecting your information is important to us, especially sensitive details like your Social Security number and bank information. We use reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards. In ARC Shift these include encryption in transit and at rest, sign-in without passwords, a second sign-in step for ARC staff and Client approvers, access limited by role and branch, limits on repeated sign-in attempts, and a permanent log of every change to a time record.
Still, no website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your Personal Information, we will act promptly to address it and notify you as required by law.
You are responsible for keeping your devices secure and for not sharing your sign-in codes with anyone. ARC will never ask you for a sign-in code.
Watch out for scams. ARC will never ask you to pay a fee to apply for a job, buy equipment, or send money. If you get a suspicious message claiming to be from us, call 800-233-1332 before responding.
6. Other important information

Our Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us information, contact privacy@kkrstaffing.com.
C. Email communications (CAN-SPAM)
We don’t use false or misleading subject lines or sender addresses. Our marketing emails identify themselves, include our physical address, and include an easy way to unsubscribe. We honor unsubscribe requests promptly. You’ll still receive important messages about your Account, applications, Assignments, and sign-in codes.
